Fashion Foundation at Working Men’s College – limited places available!

The Working Men’s College highly successful Fashion Foundation course has limited places available.  This 1 year course is a specialised Fashion Pathway course in which students assemble a coherent portfolio to present at those important university interviews.  Our students progress onto prestigious Universities such as Central Saint Martins, UCF, UAL and Middlesex as well as successful employment.

New for 2013 – our new Fashion Studio will be a fantastic resource for you to get creative and produce work of the highest standard.  Our course tutors and tech support team have a wealth of experience in the Fashion Industry and will support you from idea concept to realisation on catwalk in the end of year show.

Recently awarded Outstanding by Ofsted (March 2013), the Working Men’s College is a diverse and inclusive community which embraces and nurtures creative talent enabling students to realise their potential and attain a place at their first choice of University studying a vast range of Fashion disciplines from Styling through to Footwear.

Final Major Project #Final Garments and Evaluation

Before to post the pictures of our show, a preview of the finished garments waiting to be evaluated.
Putting out our designs for the show as well as past projects our sketchbooks. A all year laid out to be marked. We can see some pretty thing there, colourful and original designs resulting of a year of hard work.

Before the D- Day everyone is actively working on their final garments and the pieces are taking shape. Sewing, printing, knitting, embroidering or pleating each students is using the skills learnt trough the year to showcase the best of their talents and technique.

Final Major Project #Research #2

The two last month before the summer break, before we start university. We are all working on The Final Major Project that we will be presenting the on 21st of june as a fashion show. Each student will be presenting a mini collection or will be part of the organisation of the show. It is the conclusion of this foundation year before we jump into further studies, for the successful students that were accepted to London college of fashion, Bath university, Middlesex or Central Saint Martins, and into professional life for some of us. 
We are all working hard to create a show showcasing our skills and great ideas. To start with we all have been researching ideas and themes to work on ..
